Starling Exhibition

in Videos

The video was shot by two girls Sophie and Liberty who are independent documentary filmmakers based in London and New York. The first part of the video is still images but after 23 seconds the video starts, I think it’s worth the wait. They love to travel and this video was taken when they were canoeing on the river Shannon. The flock of starlings filmed above the River Shannon contained thousands of the birds. This phenomenon is called a Murmuration.
The river Shannon is the longest river in Ireland, it’s source is located in county Cavan and it reaches the sea at Limerick. It is a great boating and cruising river.
