A long coastline features superb beaches and all the drama of the highest sea cliffs in Europe. Venture inland and you will find that a more serene beauty reigns with Lakeland scenery, rolling mountains and megalithic tombs. Not far from Westport stands Croagh Patrick , the pyramidal mountain, where Saint Patrick is said to have performed his snake-banishing act. Mayo's other famous religious site is Knock, which is visited by thousands of pilgrims every year

Included on this cd rom is a slideshow of 12 photographs, one photograph taken at each location. This can then be installed onto your computer as a beautiful screensaver. The cd rom is easy to use and there is no need to load any additional software. It can be operated in manual mode where the user has control or in automatic mode where the user can sit back , watch and listen as the cd rom runs automatically through each location and explains briefly what you are looking at.
