Dunleer

Dunleer is a growing small town situated midway between Drogheda and Dundalk. It is located just off the M1 motorway. It's name comes from the gaelc name Lann Leire meaning Church of Austerity.It is the main town in mid louth and is surrounded by other small villages and townlands such as Dromin, Philipstown, Tenure. Close by there is a pleasant lake side walk at Rathescar Lake where you can feed the swans and ducks.
