Doonbeg Golf Links Course County Clare
The Doonbeg Golf Club course is the product of the creative genius of Greg Norman augmented by the experienced golf design team of Kiawah Development Partners.
Doonbeg Golf Club plays along 1.5 miles of beach and dunes. The ocean is visible from the green, fairway, or tee of 16 of the 18 holes.
The par 72 layout features a single loop of nine holes out and nine back. It plays 6,885 yards from the back tees. Driving Range, Clubhouse with locker rooms and pub, and Golf Shop are available.
We are currently accepting tee time reservations. 10% deposit required when booking. Balance due 45 days in advance of play date.
Cancellation must be received in writing, fax, or email 45 days in advance of play date. Changes or cancellations 30 days or less no refund, deposit fortified.
Doonbeg is a soft spikes only environment. Metal spikes are not permitted. Spike changing facilities are available in the Clubhouse. (Please allow extra time.)
Appropriate golfing attire is required. Blue jeans or dungarees are not permitted. Improperly dressed golfers will be asked to change prior to play.
It is expected that an 18-hole round of golf at Doonbeg will take no more than 4 hours and 30 minutes. Players should keep pace with the group ahead. Players who stop for any reason may not delay following groups. The golf professional and player assistants have complete authority to monitor play. Please adhere to their requests.
The following options are available at Doonbeg Golf Club:
Senior Caddie and Forecaddie (one caddie per four ball). It is mandatory on Saturdays and Sundays that each four ball playing the course takes, at minimum, a forecaddie.
Caddies MUST be reserved in advance; otherwise, there is no guarantee of availability.
Single golfers and two-balls may be obliged to team up with others from time to time.
Golfers should be ready to play 15 minutes prior to tee time.
