Slieve League are the highest cliffs in Europe at 601 metres (1,972 ft). Although they are not as famous as the Cliffs of Moher they are well worth a visit. The drive along the coast is well worth the trip as well as seeing the tranquil villages along the route. As you near the cliffs the road is narrow but don’t let this put you off. At the cliffs themselves there is a car park but you can open the gates and drive the last kilometre along the edge to the cliffs., remember to close gates as there are sheep grazing the area.
