Bunratty Folk Park is located in the grounds of Bunratty Castle reached by the N18 road between Limerick and Ennis, near Shannon Town.
It is a reconstruction of the homes and environment of Ireland of over a century ago. Take your time to wander around the 26 acres of over 30 buildings and if your lucky you can see people dressed in the traditional clothing and actively working in ther particular skill or trade.

Rural farmhouses, village shops and streets are recreated and furnished as they would have appeared at that time according to their social standing, from the poorest one roomed dwelling to Bunratty House a fine example of a Georgian residence for the gentry built 1804 home of the Studdarts, the last family to occupy Bunratty Castle.
