Donabate Golf Club, Balcarrick, Donabate, Co Dublin

Donabate Golf Club was founded in 1925. Located approximately 2 miles off the M1 motorway and 15- minutes from Dublin Airport (see map).  Although only 12 miles from Dublin City center; Donabate still retains a country charm and character all its own . Accommodation is plentiful within the surrounding areas, including the hotel (The Waterside House Hotel ) 10 minutes walking distance from the course. In addition to Donabate Golf Club, the town of Donabate can boast of five other golf courses. The nearby train station and good local taxi service are convenient for travelling to the city and airport.

Donabate Golf Club is a mature tree lined 27-hole parkland course, which was founded in 1925. Nine new holes were opened over the last five years.

All of the original greens have been redesigned. The 27 greens are now sand based and playable all year round.

Water hazards also come into play on nine holes. It is an enjoyable and challenging course for golfers of all abilities and requires good course management skills
