About The beaches of Doneagal are renowned throughout the world.

With a vast coastline that is the longest of any county in Ireland, the county provides enormous expanses of beaches, many with little or no activity on them.

The county is a surfer paradise being one of the best places in the world for the huge breakers.

The extremely irregular coastline extends from Lough Foyle on the north to Donegal Bay on the west and is deeply indented by Lough Swilly.

Seven of the eleven beach stretches on the Donegal coastline are Blue Flag Beaches which is an added tourist attraction.

These include Rossnowlagh, Portsalon, Bundoran Narin/Portnoo, Marble Hill, Rathmullan and Culaduff.
