Tydavnet , County Monaghan

Tydavnet is located about four and a half miles north west of Monaghan Town in County Monaghan. Tydavnet is now a picturesque village but once was the location for St Dympna's nunnery in the 6th century.

The ancient graveyard is now all that remains of St Dympna's nunnery.
