Thanks for the links. I will check them out and get back to you. I am also seeking advice about first year college students in Dublin, i.e. are they better off in student housing even if they are not in the safest "areas" of Dublin, or should they live in a more remote area? Will they then lack the student integration that could impede their college life? I would really appreciate any input you feel you can share about this aspect.

My daughter will be enrolling in DIT in September and I wanted to get some advice on student housing. My older daughter may also be in Dublin and I wondered if I should have them both share a flat or should the younger one go into student housing perhaps sharing with another student?
